NO FISH?   NO PROBLEM!

Fred Drodge and Brent Clews have over 20 years in combined experience in the ice fishing industry. 

Remember Yellow Huts in Cooks Bay?  That was Fred's parents who started that business.  Fred has been operating huts since he was a young boy.  After selling the Yellow Hut business, Fred decided to start with a new idea to make Mobile Huts.   

Brent Clews became Fred's partner in 2009.  Brent has a love for the outdoors and thoroughly enjoys fishing and four wheeling.  Brent and Fred are the ONLY fisherman on lake Simcoe to offer a completely mobile hut service. 

Fred and Brent also believe that ice fishing provides an opportunity for family time.  On any given weekend, you will find their families down at the lake. Brent and his wife have two children, 11 and 8, while Fred and his wife have a 2 year old daughter. 

The huts are hand-built  and are designed for optimum fishing comfort.  The picture shows the inside of the hut, and as you can see, 4 adults can sit comfortably and fish in their own hole.  No more tangled line!  Just you  and the fish.  Each hut has a two burner cookstove,  and padded seats. 

We also have a gigantic ice cabin that will comfortably sleep 6.  This was built in early 2011 and made it's debut last year to rave reviews.  Everyone who fishes in the ice cabin loves it.  Please see the 'Pictures' section to see some photos and also there is a link to a video.
